Anahita Khammari

Anahita Khammari is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Irvine, specializing in biophysics. Her primary expertise lies in investigating biological systems by incorporating and integrating molecular dynamics with bioinformatics techniques to gain insight into the behavior and function of proteins. Anahita received her Ph.D. in 2020, and her research centered on identifying hot spots during the formation of amyloid fibrils using targeted molecular dynamics approaches. Over the past eight years, she has developed a variety of molecular dynamics applications, aimed at achieving a deeper understanding of protein functiona and their underlying fundamental mechanisms.
