Eshan Thilakaratne is a M.S./Ph.D. student in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. He is interested in understanding the molecular-level kinetic and thermodynamic mechanisms that underlie biological processes. In the Yu lab, Eshan is investigating the self-assembly of capsid-like particles and therapeutic protein design. Outside of his studies, he nejoys running, reading psychology books, and hanging out with friends.
