Akarsh Kumar Dash is a Ph.D. student in Mathematical, Computational and Systems Biology. Akarsh is interested in understanding the structure, movement, and dynamics of bio-molecules in relation to their function (or dysfunction in disease). In the Yu Lab, Akarsh hopes to apply and develop molecular dynamics and coarse grained simulation techniques across different scales to improve understanding of bio-molecular dynamics and functions. Outside of academia, Akarsh enjoys listening to music, reading fiction, and playing open-world video games.
